Can someone explain to me what the difference is between Record-level locking that you can set up in Tools - Options and Row-level locking that you can set by right-clicking a table. I think I read that row-level locking dealt more with replication-conflict issues and record level dealt with the new provision in Access to be able to lock records instead of entire pages. And if you aren't using Replication would there be any use in using row-level locking, and how does it affect performance. Thanks
