Hi!

I´ve got an 4-Port NetBuilderII, and have problem with routing!

I´ve got 4 Subnets, each on every port:

!1 = 192.168.1.0
!2 = 192.168.2.0
!3 = 192.168.3.0
!4 = 192.168.4.0

The goal is to route all traffic from each Port only to the Port 4 (WAN)!

The other subnets don´t have to be reachable!

I´ve done the following:

SetD -ip control=route

Add -ip route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 !1 0

...for eache port!

But it don´t work! I can only ping every port of the NBII, but not the Hosts behind the ports!

Thanks in advance and greeting from Germany

Robert

Robert,

I suppose x.x.x.1 is the IP-address of every port ?
All IP-traffic has to flow from port 1,2 and 3 to port 4?
Can u tell more ?

Yes x.x.x.1 is the IP-Adress of every port!
All IP-traffic hast to flow from 1,2 and 3 to port 4, which is attached to an Linux-Proxy Server!

Another problem i had post for a while is:

When i attach the NBII to a PC with a X-Cable there are problems withe pinging the router, or other PC´s! A Average of 50% of the packets are lost! When i connect the NBII with an Switch, the Ping is OK with 0% Packet lost!

Any idea with this problem!?

Thanks in advance!

Robert
