Hi! I've got a Linksys BEFVP41 set up at home as an IPsec VPN server. I can successfully connect to it with SSH Sentinel v1.4 on Windows XP, and I'm able to ping/browse/etc the servers on my home network. That's great, works fine from anywhere, life is good.
However, I want to use the VPN as my default gateway when I'm connected to it - meaning, when I'm sitting in Starbucks connected to the VPN over Tmobile's HotSpot service, I want all of my traffic going over the VPN - not just the traffic that's headed to my home's 192.168.x.x network.
For example, I want to be able to run "tracert and see it going to my house and out over my home ISP, rather than the Tmobile one, just as if I said "tracert myhomeserver" and it goes directly there over 192.168.x.x IP's.
I've got SSH Sentinel v1.4, and I followed the configuration PDF instructions on their site. I'm assigning myself a virtual IP address - my home network is 192.168.37.x, and my VPN virtuals are 192.168.38.x. The laptop is successfully on the 192.168.x.x network, so I think I just need to set a default route on the Windows XP laptop.
Thanks in advance for your help!
