Hi all, have an older Definity system that is networked to 3 other Magix systems via P2P. All is working well via 4 digit dial and transfers, I am just looking to making some adjustments on their call routing at the main site.

All the numbers come in via a PRI and DID's. W/in that trunk group we are deleting digits and adding the digits for the remote sites. Problem is I have a main number of 1100, this has a cov path w/ cov answer groups etc. It only allows me to integrate local(Definty) extensions. It will not let me integrate w/ the external magic extensions. How can I get cover answer groups to incorporate some of the magix extensions or is this not possible? It doesn't necessarily have to be via cov answer groups, I just somehow need to integrate a point in the original cover path that routes to the Magix systems.

Hope that makes sense to someone lol ....thanks.

Figure it out damn-it!

You cannot add Magix extensions to the cover answer group, but you could add them as a second coverage point using remote coverage. Type ch cover-path remote and add an UDP extension to the first entry. Then add 'r1' to the coverage path after the cover answer group.
