Will be Pilot'ing a Call Manager and it's been a year since I last touch one and even then it was minimum.

Could someone tell me where the call search space would be in this example? Would all these variables be either assigned or not assigned to a call search space to allow access?

User Dials a number- Route pattern - Route list - Route group - Gateway

The calling search space defines which partitions CM uses when the number is dialed, and as such defines which route pattern to use (because you define a parition that the route pattern exists in).

Admittedly simplified, but it would be like this:

User Dials a number - CSS - Route pattern - Route list - Route group - Gateway
