Hi together,

I have a Juniper NetScreen 25 an a NetScreen 5GT. I have established a static tunnel between this firewalls
and I also made a tunnel between one firewall and a client.

Now I want to connect the client with the first firewall and route ahead to the second firewall over the site-to-site tunnel. But I have no idea how it works. The helpdesk from Juniper said that it is NOT possible to route such tunnels.

Could anybody help me?

It sounds like it's not possible. I can say that you cannot do this with Cisco, so maybe Juniper is similar. You should be able to set up a tunnel directly between the client and the second NetScreen, to form a mesh.

Hi,

thanks for the quick answer. I have read that it should function with NAT in Transal Mode. But I don't know if it works correct on the NetScreen firewall.

Thanks for your help.
