Have a customer with a three site installation. Each site has/had a 3Com V3000 talking over VTL's. One site's NBX was fried in an electrical storm. We're converting them to ShoreTel but initially we just replaced the fried unit with a ShoreTel. The ShoreTel PBX is connected to the main NBX via an emulated PRI. In/out calls are going to be handled through the main site's PRI in the NBX.
Have internal extension dialing working and incoming calls for the ShoreTel routing to the ShoreTel OK. Having trouble getting outbound calls from the ShoreTel to redirect and go out te PRI at the main site. Using tandem trunking on the ShoreTel and sending the access code for the NBX's PRI but the NBX is treating it as an incoming external call. Any thoughts appreciated.
What goes around - comes around.
