Hi

I am having some routing problems that I need help with.
I have an ISDN router whose IP Address is 212.63.172.234 subnet mask 255.255.255.252. It has a route that enables me to access IP address 147.204.2.5.

I have a W2K Server with 2 NIC cards:-

IP Address 212.63.172.233
Subnet 255.255.255.252

IP address 157.203.60.248
Subnet 255.255.254.0

The IP address range of my network is 157.203.xxx.xxx.
Basically I want to be able to route all 147.204.2.5 traffic from the 157.203.x.x network throught the W2K server and out through the router.

I am quite new to the W2K Routing & remote access

Can somebody please help me

An additional step is to have the DNS server IP addresses of your ISP.
If your dialing into the ISP the connection numbers.
Account names and password for the ISP?
Mail server incoming and outgoing names?
The sever will Authenticate the users permissions etc.
Install DNS services on the server and other services you will require for you hosts?
Use DHCP to assign addresses to your host’s 157.203.xxx.xxx in that range.

Assign one of the nic cards IP addresses as you have posted.
IP Address 212.63.172.233 {Server}
Subnet 255.255.255.252
Use the IP address of the ISDN router as the default gateway route.
212.63.172.234 subnet
255.255.255.252

Assign the remaining nic card the IP addresses as you have posted.
IP address 157.203.60.248
Subnet 255.255.254.0
Use the previous Nic card address:
IP Address 212.63.172.233 {Server}
Subnet 255.255.255.252
As the default gateway address.
So Any ARP requests get passed on to the next segments. Nic Card

Tell the host to connect to the server at for DHCP assignments
IP address 157.203.60.248
Subnet 255.255.254.0

Redirect to DNS request from w2k server to your ISP DNS server. Meaning Secondary address?
Install a routing Protocol?
Type 'route print' from the command prompt to see your system's routing table after all the hosts have renewed IP lease from your DHCP Pool.
I’m sure I missed something oh yeah Internet Sharing Wizard ... fill in the gaps on the hosts etc.,
This is the basics.
Route once; switch many
