Hi

I am having some routing problems that I need help with.
I have an ISDN router whose IP Address is 212.63.172.234 subnet mask 255.255.255.252. It has a route that enables me to access IP address 147.204.2.5.

I have a W2K Server with 2 NIC cards:-

IP Address 212.63.172.233
Subnet 255.255.255.252

IP address 157.203.60.248
Subnet 255.255.254.0

The IP address range of my network is 157.203.xxx.xxx.
Basically I want to be able to route all 147.204.2.5 traffic from the 157.203.x.x network throught the W2K server and out through the router.

I am quite new to the W2K Routing & remote access

Can somebody please help me

What is the default gateway for the W2K Server? If the default gateway is 212.63.172.234 (the router) then it should be able to route any traffic not destined for 157.203.x.x network to the router. Assuming the router has a route like you mention then this should work.

If your default gateway on the W2K Server is something else then then you will need to configure a static route on your server with destination 147.204.2.5 (what is the subnet mask?) use gateway 212.63.172.234. Further, all PC's on the 157.203.x.x must point to the W2K server as it's gateway or else they all will also need static routes configured.
