Hi.

In Windows XP Pro, when I try to create an incoming connection, it says the Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) can't start. In the event log I find two entries:

Code:
Source: Service Control Manager
EventID: 7024
Desc: Routing and Remote Access service terminated. Service-specific error 2147483720 (0x80000048).

Source: RemoteAccess
EventID: 20103
Desc: Unable to load C:\WINDOWS\System32\ipxrtmgr.dll.

I already searched the Internet for possible solutions and found only Win2k related info. I tried delating the RemoteAccess registry key, reinstalling the modem (even if I am connected to the Internet through LAN), disabling the TCP/IP protocol... but with no success.

Is there a way to reset/reinstall the RRAS service in Windows XP without having to reinstall Windows itself?

Thanks in advance.
