Hi

I have 3 internet lines and was wondering if it is possible to use RRAS as the router and change the default route if to one of the other internet lines if the main one is down.

Thanks

Dave

you could right a short batch script and schedule it as a scheduled task which runs every 1 minutes for a duration of 24 hours. i have such a script on one of my servers. if you want i can post it here. just right a few lines to check if the gateway is reachable and if not add a new default route. it could go something like this (bare in mind this a a quick draft):

ping 10.10.10.10 -n 1 -w 100 || route -p add 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 11.11.11.11 metric 1 & route change 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.10.10.10 metric 2
