Routing all calls to reception BCM50e

Hi everyone,

We now have a full time receptionist which I would like to route all the incoming calls to instead of our auto attendant.

I still want the auto attendant to turn on after 6:00PM as we're not in the office but before that I would like all the calls to be routed to extension 224.

What's the best way of doing that?

As always, thank you so much for all your help. I honestly don't know a better place to find quick answers. Great job on the forum.

Remove Answer setting from required lines in Auto Attendant
Assign main target line to reception with a few appearances.
Setup Service Mode as Auto with voice mails DN as the member.
Setup the times for Service Mode

Assign the trunks to A&R to 224. Set the lines to be answered by AA...change # rings to 12.

Services, Ringing Services, create ring group 002 (the one I usually use, you can use any number) add the VM DN to this ringing group...go to night, set night to either manual or automatic assign the Line #s to ring group 002.

If you set the night service to manual, and you want them to toggle the services on and off, make sure 224 is the control set, then you can assign F871 to the set. If you turn services on, the AA answers at first ring...turn it off it will take twelve rings for the AA to answer.

If you want it to cycle automatically, set the night service to auto and set the times and make sure the system time is correct.
