Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me with static route, network route and DNS route?
What is the diff between these?
How do i configure each .....?
Any good docs avilable?

Please help.

A static route is a route that is manually added in (using the route add command) It is not added dynamically via a routing protocol

A network route allows you to route an entire network to a particular gateway not just one host ie the whole of 192.168.50.0 /24

a dns route is something im not familiar with

hope this helps

Any docs on how to do this will be helpfull.
Thanks for your time, its been real help.

Try man route? Otherwise, search the internet, there is plenty of information about routing out there.
