IS-IT--Management
Hello,
I am using Routersim 3.2 standard edition and have followed the suggested labs which are taken from the Sybex book by Todd Lammle, I feel pretty confident with my router configs but what I really want to do is use the sim in 'freeform' mode ie, set up my own internetworks using real world IP addreses and subnets as I prepare to retake the exam.
I was wondering if there are any pre-prepared diagrams/schemes which I could print out and then build the suggested network in my sim - these schemes could even include errors that would test me.
I have tried searching via Google but can not find anything, dare I suggest it but I wondered if anyone would be prepared to prepare some network specifications for me to reproduce on the sim.
If anyone knows of any free resources or is interested in giving me a challenge, the equipment available on the sim is:
Five (5) Cisco 2501 routers with Enterprise edition 12.09 software. The 2501’s have one Ethernet and two Serial interfaces
One (1) Cisco 2621 router with Enterprise edition 12.0 software. The 2621 has two FastEthernet interfaces and two Serial interfaces.
Six (6) Cisco Catalyst 1912EN switches with Enterprise edition software. The 1912EN switches have twelve 10BaseT switched ports and two FastEthernet switched ports.
Eight (8) hosts that you can configure with IP addresses, subnet masks and default gateways. From the host, both the Ping and Telnet programs are supported for network verification.
Thanks very much for any help,
EB
