Here's my office network:

Cable
I
Router/NAT using DHCP(Linksys)
I
10/100 36 port switch
I
Workstations

I need to set up a new node. It will be a Unix box and I need to assign it a static IP. If the rest of my network is using DHCP how would I do this? Is it in the web based GUI of the router>?

thanks

Assuming that the router is assinging 192.168.1.XXX starting at 192.168.1.100 and going up, assine the unix box something between 192.168.1.2 & 192.168.1.99. I'm doing this with a linux server without any trouble.

thanks man, thats what I did already seems to be working fine!~

cheers
