I am having a strange problem.

While attempting to post to the eng-tips or tek-tips forums, I can ONLY post a certain amount of characters. (haven't attempted to define exactly how many) Short posts go right through, long ones cause the page to hang and eventually time out. I contacted the system admin, and the problem was not on that end. So I unplugged my router, and straight into the modem. All posts go through like this. The only problem, is that I've never set up any site specific restrictions on ANY site through the firewall.

This has nothing to do with Anti-Virus or anything else. Something screwy appears to be going on with the router. (which is a LinkSys BEFSX41)

Thanks in advance

It may be an idea to install a packet tracer like ethereal to see what's going on - but as a first thought check your MTU size on the router and verify that is what your ISP recommends.
