I have a router that I connect to through Procomm and I can see it fine but I dont know the password to get into enable mode...is there anyway that I can bypass that or what do I need to do?

If the password is lost, you need to do a password recovery . Refer to your installation book or go to Cisco.com ...   Good Luck !

You cannot bypass the enable password - that's the whole idea!  To carry out password recovery you have to be locally attached to the router through the console port.  As you have not specified which router model, I cannot be more specific than that.

You can bypass any password you like if you are willing to loose configuration in that router. Control+Break at boot will get you to boot> mode there you can boot from Rom, flash, or tftp server.

Yes, but Deckard is correct by stating you must be physically attached to the the console port of the router.

Check solarwinds.net for various tools associated with Cisco router configuration and router password recovery.
