We have a cisco router and in the past three weeks we have had to unplug it twice in order for us to receive our emails. Internet will be working fine, but emails won't come in or out of the firm. Once we unplug the router everything starts working immediately. We have a Cisco router 2524. Can anyone help us out? I don't know anything about routers.....

Does the router NAT for the mail server? Does it connect to a firewall? Can you ping the mail server from the outside when you are not receiving mail? Does just port 25 fail?

Chris.
