router -> wireless access point

i have a working Netgear WGT624 wireless router, now i want to wireless connect a Panasonic DP-C322 printer so all users can use it, i bought a Belkin wireless printer but it's not compatible w/ the printer. so here's what i like to know; i have a second NG WGT624 router that can be setup as a wireless access point (according to the Netgear web site, the Netgear reps i spoke with were not aware of that option, DUH i would like to use that router to hookup the printer, can it be done wireless ? also do i need to always have a pc connected to that router (which would work as a WAP)

Not quite sure why it isn't compatible with the printer. According to the blurb, this printer has both USB and Ethernet interfaces, so I'm surprised it won't connect to the print server. Are you getting an error message of some sort?

You will need to setup the Ethernet port on the printer with an appropriate I.P. Address, Mask, Gateway etc., to match the rest of the network. I suggest getting the printer working initially with the Ethernet port plugged directly into the original Netgear router. Once that works then attempt connecting the printer to the other Netgear and configure it as an access point.

thanks guys but i decided to take the easy way out, connected the printer to a old pc i had here and print through that.
