ok i have a cisco 1841 t1 router external serial 0/0.1 ip address 65.210.83.206 = email.psr1.com set by dns through our public dns for our web site hosted off sight. it is set up forward and reverse dns. now my local network is set up on fe0/0 subnet 192.168.1.0 which is a .local domainnow if i'm out side my network i can connect to all services inside my network pop, smtp, and remote web work place. just the way is should. now here is my problem i only use pop and smtp for software that is located on my lan. but it can not connect to email.psr1.com
even if i open a web browser and try to connect to email.psr1.com it ends up going through a search engine stating cannot be found. what do i have to do to get this to work. you would think that dns would route the request just like for any other request outside my network. and get redirected back in. any help appreciated
