Connecting up a DSL to a small company network so users have internet and E-mail access. There are 12 users on the network with about 6 having real internet usage potential. I am figuring on using a Cisco 827 ADSL router and would like some opinions.

The Cisco 827 ADSL works fine.
In my opinion it is better to use the ADSL modem provided by the Internet provider and then use an router that will provide NAT for your internal network.
Many providers blame the customer config when there is actually a problem with the line.

The 827 will not provide NAT? I was under the impression it could provide that?

The 827 does provide NAT, ciup was referring to using the isp provided modem to a router with NAT which the 827 is and does. This I guess as opposed to using just the modem and doing the NAT with software like ICS.
