Hello Every,
I have a 2524 Cisco Router with 8mb/8mb of memory. A few months ago, I connected it to a 2514 through aux ports. Async1. I haven't used it in the longest, so I do not have the settings saved, nor can I see view the settings because when the router STARTS, it tries to synchronize, but the other router is no longer connected. what I think I did back then was turn on debugging, which I later on found out that it could be fatal. I can't telnet into it because I have no clues as to what the settings may be. I tried overwriting the setting with "CONFIG MAKER" and that was also unsuccessful. I reseached on and all I found was this on this,
and this is what I could only com up. I also tried to enter Monitor ROM mode to, but it doesn't go in. I can't enter any commands. Your input and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again..
Isa.

Normally you can go in by way of the password recovery and then edit the configuration. I've done on several times.

When you say you could not get in by RMON... what happens?
