Guys & Girls. I have an IP Office 8.1, I have voicemail pro. I need to route one call to multiple external numbers and I am failing to do so. I have not found a simple way to do this... Is there a way?

Regards,
Tommie

Hunt group with users forwarded to external numbers? If it worked it would use a line or channel for each forwarded call. Better option would be mobile twinning, one x or VPN IP phones.

I thought of the hunt group and mobile twinning, but for this particular case it has to be done in VMPRO and twinning is not an option with this client... I stated the question wrongly... ;) Is it possible in VMPRO? Otherwise I will advice them to purchase the extra's needed for twinning

VM Pro will only call one destination, you will need twinning and a group to achieve this :)

Like I said, twinning over SIP leaves me with one way audio... not an option.. ;)

It is not an option to ignore problems like one way voice!
Solve the problem and stop trying to avoid a normal solution.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Indeed, fix the issue...the IPO can twin over SIP :)

I will try to help instead of being a bit offensive (was not my intention)
Do you need multiple people on the line or multiple destination after each other?

Another question.
Who is the provider, maybe i know them as we are both Dutch :)

No offence taken tlpeter. Fixing a 0 way audio problem however that Avaya says is a bug and thus unsolvable (google it), is not really my forté. And my question was not fully loaded with all the information I already had.

We are using Routit (broadsoft) as our carrier and we have configured a working trunk. When starting to route to hunting with twinned phones connected, this resulted in 0 audio connections. I have already tried:

turning off direct media,
fiddling with refer support,
fiddling with codec support...

I can see all rtp streams being allowed by my firewall.

Weird,...

you could always get another SIP provider and do twinning over the second SIP provider.
I twin between 3 different SIP providers and all works so there is a possibility that your twinning with the same provider causes you problems if you route in one and out another might fix your issue.

Twinning or forwarding btw makes no difference if you have problems with the SIP one way you will have them the other way too.
you can even test it with a few bucks worth of SIP trunks form a really cheap provider like voip.ms they charge $1 /month plus 1 cent/minute for the call and their voice quality is sometimes questionable but for testing it would be a good investment.

HSM is probably right; I've have to do that on quite a few systems to fix the 1 way audio.

Hi Tommie,

Routit should work fine ( i did this in the past)
But when this is a bug then it should be fixed by Avaya.
What version is the IPO on?

Turning on RTP keepalives solved it... :) Awesome. Thanks and sorry peter for aggrevating you,...

Now the OWTX is sorted you have 2 options with the off switch transfer.

if you want all external destinations to ring at the same time you have no option apart form twining & a collective ring group.

otherwise a sequential ring group with forward hunt group calls set or a sequence of assisted transfers from the VM pro call flow will do the trick.

further information on the purpose of this request my help

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

IF you want them all on the phone then use a shortcode with "Priority call"
This will ring all phones and when answered then the rest will keep ringing and added to the (conference) call too.
A bit annoying but it works fine :)
