Hello Guys , we have a large network of 14 X 8600,s with a large overhead of routes using ospf . Does anyone know of any documents/white papers on route summerization that may help me with this .

Hi,

urm.. which are you after, a general ( non vendor ) of route summarization, or a Nortel document that explains how to do it after you have figured out what you need to summarize?

In the 8600s RIP implementation they have a feature called
auto-aggregation or auto-summarization, I don't think I've seen a general IP setting - or an OSPF setting.
