Hello,
Current setup is:
26 t-1's (routegroups) controlled by 1 Route List
I need to add 6 more t's to this configuration, how ever I am told that when I do I have to reset the route list and this will drop all of the existing t's.
My question is can I configure a new route list, add the 6 new t's and have the main route list hunt over in case of failure or capacity issues. I was told it can be done but is a lot of work to do this
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thx

Resetting the Route List doesn't drop any calls or do anything to the T-1's themselves. It is a CallManager internal process. But wouldn't you be adding the new T-1's to the Route Group?

Yes this is what our people want to do but the tech says it will knock all t-1's out of service and take a long time to recover, we are on rls 5.3
thx

I've never seen a T-1 go OOS when you reset a Route List or Route group.
