We have another company who will be forwarding their numbers to specific DDI's on our system. They think that the callers number won't be passed, but the numebr that the call is forwarded from.

Without using IQ using DNIS patterns, is there a way to route calls on a 3300 MXe based on the number presented to the system.

3300 has no where you can specify routing based on ANI.
Number dialled or DNIS is always the same unless another system alters this.

question is what will be sent to you with regards to DID digits? if you do get did digits then all is good.

Essenatially the 3300 can do a form of routing based on DNIS - if the DID digits passed by the Telco is the same or similar as the DNIS

think you'll probably need IQ for this.

Trying to be a bit creative here:
We've done some blocking base on CLID via the 6510 so I would think that via some black magic routing could be done there also.

But, assuming you don't have a 6510, if the call originates with a toll free number, a carrier can do some special things such as route based on area code and exchange.

I see this request a lot. I do wish someone would program a HCI interface that would do this. (Bueler.... Bueler... Bueler...)

I'm working on a solution for it. It takes reversing of XNET IP trunking protocol. I'm at the point when IP trunk will enter ESTABLISHED state and maintain heartbeat. Did not figure out meaning of all messages yet. It seems to be very similar to DPNSS but so far I could not decode few key messages. If anybody has any information it will be greatly appreciated.
