sco-experts,

during normal operation everyone can use our sco-system, but for unknown reason to me until now... there's a time in each day that it kicks out everyone from accessing the system and i need to "route add".

'been diggin things' out but couldn't get the right answer so far. 'would appreciate any help.

additional query:

is there a file i have to change to PRO-LONG timeout period for telnet or ftp sessions to the server?

i tried "idleout=0" (/etc/defaults/idleout) but still getting the same problem - it kicks me out of the system after 10 to 15 minutes of idletime.

is there anythings else i should change in terms of parameters?

based from the SCO site... to be able to have the same config after reboot... you must add "idleout" under /etc/rc2.d/S88USRDEFINE. our system don't have that particular file. do i need to create it and a permission of 755?

sorry, i'm new to SCO. any help would be great.
