Hey All,

I have a machine (machine A) that is connected to another network and is configured to forward packets accordingly. I would like to, on a workstation by workstation basis, configure said workstations to access the second network via Machine A. I am thinking I would just add this route to each workstation, but I'm a little confused using the route add command in DOS. Can anyone give some assistance on how this command is to be used???

Thanks in Advance!!

for a pc to route to another LAN, it needs to have actual router software installed i.e; 2000 server with RRAS....

aftertaf,

I personally would never use a client workstation as an inter-subnet router or brouter.

But you had it right: "...for a pc to route to another LAN, it needs to have actual router software installed." It just happens to be a registry edit in this case.

Best,
Bill
