Hello everybody,

I'm a newbie in VPN configuration.
I have some Problems with a NetScreen 25 and 5GT.
I have made a LAN to LAN tunnel and a dial up to LAN tunnel.
WAN WAN
location A ============= location B ================ Client
(NS 5GT) (NS 25) (NS)
(static IP) (static IP) (DHCP)

here my question:
Is it possible to connect from the client to location A without a direct connection?
Could anybody told me how use location B as a router between the both tunnels?
The Juniper helpdesk said it would not work and they could not help me.

Thank's for help

It will work, but it depends on how you have configured your network.

First, have you configured route-based or tunnel-based VPNS's between location A and location B ?

If the tunnel is route-based then you need to ensure that the tunnel interface is terminated in the 'Trust' Zone of location B and that the Zone is configured to permit intra-zone traffic. If it is tunnel-based then it is just a case of configuring the correct policies.

Also, I presume you are using NetScreen Remote ? Have you configured the client to send all traffic to location B ? Also is the client configured to receive an internal private IP address that location A knows how to route to ?
