I have created a report that contains a bar chart. I want to display the values each bar on the chart. When I select Value for the data labels it does display the values as expected. The value dispalyed has more decimal places than I would like. Is there any way to truncate it without haveing to rewrite the underlying query?

or you can use in the report the format (number,"Format I.E. 0.0000") or you can configure the decimals on the fields property in report design

Not quite sure that I follow.

Where exactly would I use the format function?
