Would someone be able to give me a rough estimate would it would cost for a Cisco Solution (including Unity) for approximatly 160 users from a hardware/software persepctive as well as maintenance?

The solution should be redudant.

Any help if rough estimates is greatly appreciated!

More than a dollar and less than a million. There are far too many options to even speculate. Different model phones, different model switches, existing infrastructure and so on

Was just looking for a number for basic use with VM and nothing fancy like CTI, IVRs, Call Center, ...

That's what I was giving. It costed us $190K for 196 users.

Hey MitelGuy,

Did that price include installation and configuration?

I've always estimated between 15-22% of the hardware cost can be a good number to estimate installation and configuration, unless there will be extensive professional services. And a good number to estimate hardware costs is $1,000.00 times the number of active ports/phones.

What are your approximate annual maintenance costs, please?

why don't you call a venor and ask? Most will give you a quote that will be fairly detailed and a lot closer than any of us can guess at. Mine for about 125 users was only in the 90K range

it also depends on what market area you are in and what customer base you fall under. Are you in NY or are you in Billings Montana?
Are you government, health, enterpise. hospitality? each can get different pricing and eligible for discounts.

As JcBWF mentioned don't rely on a forum for pricing, contact a CISCO var to get you a quote. It costs nothing and it will get you what you need.

For anyone to give you a quote on a phone count base on a forum would be a shot in the dark.

For a base install and without any infrastructure included (switches, etc) 200K sounds a lot to me. But again it depends on your area and market.

I would agree with JcBWF you need to call a vendor and have them give a quote on hardware and smartnet.

You can also ask if you qualify for a deal ID from Cisco that could get you upto 42% off depending on your vendors status with Cisco...

Do you have any Cisco gear for a trade in? Anything helps but make sure get a qualified compnay to install...

Good Luck!!

Not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Heck, if I only had that many users, I wouldn't even use a Cisco solution, to be honest with you. I'd probably look at ShoreTel before I'd look at anyone else. It never hurts to get opinions and pricing from other vendors. It forces all involved to give you better discounts. :) Unless you need to integrate this with other Cisco voice-related applications, I'd still pick Shoretel, though.
