I'm new to Arcserve and trying to do a rotational backup from a server on the network to a local disk . I've been able to run individual backups but when I try and do a rotational it asked to mount a device, so I'm assuming that it's looking for a tape unit. All the documentaion refers backing up to a tape unit. Any ideas rather than setting up each individual job?

You need to create one FSD for each tape needed to complete the rotation. So if you would need 6 tapes for the weekly rotation then you have to create 6 FSDs and have each in the group.
