Is there any way to rotate an image on the x-axis? I know you can flip, rotate clock-wise, counter clock-wise and arbitrary but I want to rotate the image on the horizontal axis. I have an image where the people in the image are facing to the right and I want to rotate it to the left so it appears as if the people were facing me instead of away from me. Is this possible?

Thanks

...the only options you have are under the edit > transform menu...

...sounds to me like you want to rotate like a 3D application can, photoshop is 2D, if you want people facing you, you will have to get another picture...

Is it possible? No, not using Photoshop. If you have a photo of somebody facing right, you can only see half their face. If they are facing you, you would see their whole face. How can Photoshop possibly know what the left side of their face would look like?

It doesn't look at subject matter the way a human would. An image is just a mosaic of coloured pixels to Photoshop. A 3D package would be able to understand discrete objects to the extent that it could rotate them reliably, but if your starting point is a 2D photo, there's not much you can do I'm afraid...
