Is this possible or not? Access 97 I have a report with 16 lables with text, in the page
header from left to right. I do not have enough room for all 16 lables. Is there a way to
rotate the lable or something like one can do in excel? (ex: format cells, alignment, text orientation) Any help is greaty appreciated. Thank you.

No there is not an option in Access like Excel or Word for that matter.
but if your final result is a report
you can make the label 2 to 3 times as high and stack the name cause the Label or Text box will word wrap.
like
"Inventory Control Modules"
Inventory
Control
Modules

or you could use a program like Paint Brush to create a bitmap of words sideways and paste them in your report

Not very flexible but a solution
I think I may have answered this at another site, but just in case:

Here is a simple way of doing what you want. Open MS Word or MS Excel, insert a text box, type your label using the font type and font size you wish to use. Rotate the text box to the position you wish. If everything lookes the way you want it, copy it, then paste it into your report. Rememeber that this will then be an image and you won't be able to edit the text in any way.
Good Luck
