you can use the GD modules (available on the bribes ppm repository) to rotate an image. Whats your problem with imagemagic? try installing perlmagic from the ppm, you can find perlmagic on bribes as well.
Thanks for your posts - I managed to get Image::Magick working in the end after re-installng perl on my PC. I figured I couldn't install any new libraries because of a previous version i had.
