rootvg hdisk = none

Hi:

My system running ok, but i can't do mksysb or extendvg rootvg because the hdisk are no asisgned to rootvg, but i can's remove th hdisk0 because se system is run on.

Hi, i had nearly the same problem when i changed a disk whithout deleting all informations about it.

It seems to be imbalanced beetween the vgda on the disk and the ODM.



Porbably an importvg will solve your problem.

You may try something like: importvg -y rootvg hdisk1

and the same for hdisk0

Hi,

Try

redefinevg -d hdisk0 rootvg
redefinevg -d hdisk1 rootvg

Then do importvg using smitty menu.
