Hallo,

It seems a lot of mails (from cronjobs etc) are sent to root daily - is there a way to redirect these to another address?

oops, probably in the aliases file, postmaster... ?
do I need to run ./newaliases as in linux?

Yes, or simply create a /.forward file containing the address you want them to go to. Annihilannic.

Hello,

Take a look a t /etc/syslog.conf. You'll be able to change the people to notify to on those applications that are using this "superlog" feature.

Bye,
