I have set the rootdrive to be W:, but when a user logs in, their mapping for W: is the same as for H: (it maps to their user area on the W2K file and print server).

Why is it not mapping to the profile area on the Citrix Server?

I think that when I log in as administrator at the console, it does the correct RootDrive, but for anyone loading applications from their desktop, this is not eh case.

By Default the Root drive is mapped to the users %homedrive%.

Do this log in as a user having a problem. Open the command prompt and type echp %homedrive%. Then do echo %homepath%. Do you get the users home directory?

Good luck,
Steve Thank You,
Steve

Thanks for you help Steve, but the problem was more complicated than that. Before we finalised our Active Directory, everything was fine. As soon as we activated Active Directory, the ACregl.exe program stopped functioning properly, and would not complete all the drive mapping paths.

We eventually found this out on an obscure web-site, and created a vbs script to manually map our homedrives to a different location, whilst keeping the profile directory and data volumes for our servers available.

Our system is working much better now, so thanks anyway for your help.
