root password

We are using sco 5.0.6 and it seems that someone has locked up our root account by attempting to login too many times with the wrong password. is there a way to reset it as a standard user?

ok, I have found the person responsible and have beat them bloody. They change the root password and didn't tell anyone. thanks for your help
