Hi,
We have configured an FTP service on two novell servers for
use by one particular user.
The ftp root directory is intended to be /data/ftproot/
This user does not have a home directory and has full access below the /data/ftproot/ directory structure.
His default FTP directory has been set to /data/ftproot/prtserv/ on both servers but we do want him to be able to create files on /data/ftproot as well which works fine.
The problem is that if he uses 'cd /' command it brings him back to the server's root and not the ftp root as it should.
And from here he can see all the volumes etc on the server.
Does anyone know how we can set it so that command 'cd /'
brings him to /data/ftproot/ but he sees it as '/'.
Cheers,
Ian
