Hello. I have a site where we can reserve meeting rooms and check availability of rooms. Does anyone know how I can setup so that you can't create a new calendar entry if there is already an entry for the same time? Thanks.
You will probably have to build this functionality, sharepoint does not have this kind of function built in out-of-the-box. The calendar/events is just a list like any other on a sharepoint site and each entry in the calendar is it's own separate list entry.
Perhaps you can build this with some custom code, but can't be of much help there since I am not a developer.
