We just took over the management of our 81Cs (6 of them) and I'm trying to figure out how the DNIS table gets its number.
Our 81C are connected to Megas which are split in 3RTMs, we also have Symposium.
Here goes my Q.
If I have a tollfree number terminating on a LDN that comes in the mega on the proper RTM, does it have to have to match the number in the DNIS table in Symposium or is it possible to have the LDN do some sort of CLID manipulation to pretend to be a different number that matches the DNIS in Symposium.
I am very green and trying to assimilate as much info as possible in about 72 hours. I'm starting to have bad dreams with all these acronyms.
Is there a source I could read up on that could show me the implication and interaction of a call path in our 81Cs?
Something like Meridian 81Cs for dummy?
Thanks
