Rookie Printer Question...

...so it feels like.

Situation. Print server hosting all print queues for all printers in different subnets. Say a printer is moved from one subnet to another an therefore obtains a different IP address, can the previous clients in a different subnet continue printing to it assuming the print queue is re-installed in the their systems?

If the server's name or the queue's name does not change no need to change anything on the client computers!
As long as you adapt the (standard TCP/IP) port used by the print server to reflect the printer's new IP address...
