ROM update on iPAQ 5450 - SP24084

Has any one tried the ROM update on the iPAQ 5450? Using this util, I tired the ROM backup, but it failed at 99% three times. Where as standard back up from Active Sync (v3.7) was ok.

Due to this failure, I'm not sure wether I should update the ROM. Any advice would be most welcome.

I have tried it, and it worked just fine!

I have retried the backup process using another PC. Again, it failed at 99%, but this was using the USB cable. If I repeat but using the serial cable, it works fine. Naturally, upgrade now works.
