Hi all,

I have just created a graphic navigation bar in FW MX, and all 5 buttons in the horizontal menu have a pop-up menu attatched to them. What i want is when the mouse hovers over the buttons, not only will they change colour (rollover), but display the pop-up menu too. Can it be done? if so, can someone please explain how as i'm not very experienced with using frames.

Thanks in Advance,
Regards,
Alan

I'm not sure what you are asking, but I'll take what you want to do right from the start and hope I'm not stating the obvious.
You say you have a rollover behavior on the buttons already, so I'm assuming you also have them sliced and multiple frames. Right click on each slice and go down to "popup menu" click on that. for each heading add the text and the link, if you want a sub heading (a further slide out menu from the main popup) then use the "indent" and "outdent" buttons. As far as I know you can take these sub menus as many layers deep as you want.

you can then move on to specify what kind of look you want the pop out to have, and once you have finished, you can manualy adjust where the popout sits in relation to the button.

the export as HTML and images- it will create a javascript page, and the javascript within the html page too.

I hope this helps. Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
