Hi,

Buttons are an easy concept for me, but I seem to have a problem with two of mine. The others are functioning properly. And All of them, including the buttons I am having problems with, are calling up the proper movie clips. Its just that two of them are not acting as though they have a hit state.
Anyhow, the hit states all have the same size box covering them to define the area where the cursor should trigger the function of the button. I've checked this over and over again. But when I rollover the button, they do not work until I move the cursor just below the button. The funny thing is, that when I click one of the buttons that do work, the two that were not working before....begin to WORK (the rollover states are as they should be). I didn't change senes when I clicked on the properly functioning buttons, it's the same instance of all of the buttons. What in the world is going on? Has anyone experienced similar situations? Please help.

Thanks, Jenny

Hard to say without seeing your .fla.

Have you considered scraping those 2 buttons and re-making 2 new ones? Regards,

I'm with Old on this ... sometimes buttons just go AWOL for no apparent reason (not often, but it DOES happen). I found the best way to tackle it is to make totally new buttons. _____________________________________________________

Thanks guys....I thought that might be the problem. Just didn't want to have to redo them if it wasn't nessasary. But I'm pretty sure thats the answer.

Thanks again
