I'm relatively new to flash so pardon me in advance if this seems like a simple problem.

If you'll check out the link above you'll see I have a page with several thumbnails. Currently, when you click on the thumbnails the full sized picture is loaded into a new browser window via some asp coding.

What I'd REALLY like to be able to do is design the page in flash so that when a user rolls over one of the thumbnails the thumbnail will slowly enlarge to the full size picture. At any time during the enlarging if the user rolls off of the picture I'd like it to contract back to the thumbnail size.

I've made movieclips of each picture enlarging from the thumbnail size up to full size and then contracting back down to thumbnail size. What I'm unsure of is how to call the movie clips or how to make the clip contract back to thumbnail size when the user rolls off of the picture. I know that this will envolve some actionScripting I'm just not sure what kind of actions to use or where to put them.

Does anyone know of a tutorial or instructional site or book that would throughly explain how to do something like this.

Thanks a bunch :)

This is somewhat similar to what you're looking for, but uses press rather than rollover.
It could be adapted for rollovers, but that might bring you other problems...

Quite busy today, but if you're interested in this .fla, give me a shout at tektiper@hotmail.com, and I'll try to send it to you by tomorrow.
