Hi,
I know how to make a button in something like Webstyle then place it on any spot in a pic in FW and make the area of that button in the Dreamweaver page a hotspot that will link to some html file. My pic is to cover the main area of an index page. How can I get the 2 buttons I make in Webstyle (saved as gifs for up-state and down-state) to sit "on-top-of-each-other" at a given spot in the FW document? I know how to slice the big pic up in FW (version 4) for export to DW. If you can tell me how to do this, can I have multiple such rollover buttons on the FW document / html page?
Thanks

I hope I got the question right.
Go to Your Frames Panel Create a new One there.
On your first Frame position the Up-State graphic whereever you need it.
Go to the second frame and position the down-state exactly in the same coordinates.(This shouldn't be too difficult using the Properties Panel)

Go back to the First Frame and select The up-state graphic, Right Click and select Insert Slice.
Once the slice is created you'll see a circle in the middle of the slice, click the circle and from the menu select "Add Simple Rollover Behavior".

You're DONE!.
If you want to see if this works or not Just Click The Preview Tab on Top of the Window and you'll see the rollover working.

2d. Method.
Insert your up-state Graphic, select it, right click, "Convert to Symbol".
When Asked type the name of the symbol and select "Button"
You'll see a Slice with the little circle on top and an arrow on the left corner. Double Click the lil' arrow and You'll be presented with a new window where you can create your button as a Symbol. The interface is very intuitive.
The good think about this is that you can copy paste your buttons as many times as you want and then you change the text in each one of them.

hope that helps

Thanks a lot, I'll try that soon and get back if I can't get it to happen. :)
