I have an extension that is setup to continue to ring- forever- at a 24hr manned station. I do not want it to go to voicemail. This works. However the problem is that if that user is on the phone, I get a busy signal. How can I keep the continous ring setting, but also rollover ring for when the user is taking a call? thanks.

what type of station?

for an analog, you need to use call waiting.. for a digital just add a second scr plus cls hta hunt 000 lhk 1

If it is a digital station, add a non did to key 1 and change the LHK to 1. You can add as many as needed to the set, if it is a digital.

First off, before looking at what type of phone the station has...shouldn't you be checking what type of incoming line it has?

if its a DID...no problem, just follow the prevous posts re programming for digital or analog phones.

if its a COT...then check how many lines auto-terminate on this station. If its only ONE COT, no matter what type of programming you do, you will always get a BUSY tone on the second call.

I can never get my phone to roll over...it can Only sit so far!

3.7 million terms in the ntp's and roll over is not there. sit and stay and sometimes play dead... a cup of coffee helps when training one to play dead.

Changing the LHK worked. It was LHK2 and I changed it to LHK1 and this did the trick. Thanks again.

what is LHK?

cj,

Sounds like you are just learning the meridian. Although it will not help you with LHK, I would suggest you go to Gene's site at and download the 1011cls.xls file. It will help you with the terms for the class of services. His site has other useful information that will assist you with learning the system.
