Rolling water off of leaf...

Trying to creae a effect of water rolling off of a leaf, Im really stuck, have used darker greens on the shape to create an effect of a water bubble, alls fine to that point, motion tween to bring it to the end of the leaf, but stuck on where to go there next,

been scouring the web for examples but no joy, does anyone have any ideas ?

Hey chance, I'm no pro animator, but i would say that the water running down the leaf should leave a little dew trail if you know what i mean. You could use a black shape with about 10 or 15% opacity revealed with a mask when the water droplet moves down. Just a suggestion.
